HomeGuard Restoration has been a great company to work with! When the contractor, Zack first came to my door last summer, I did not believe that he would be able to get me a new roof. Honestly, I was skeptical. When I finally decided to go through with the process, Zack quickly scheduled a time to get on my roof and do an estimate. I was surprised that he found hail damage! With the pictures Zack took of my roof, he was able to file a claim with my insurance to get my whole roof replaced!
The process has been very smooth from start to finish. Zack has been very friendly and professional. He also worked very seamlessly with my State Farm insurance adjuster. The work on the roof was done very quickly, in fact, the crew was only on my roof for one day. I left for work in the morning and came home to a brand new roof. They also cleaned up after themselves and left no mess for me to deal with.

A recent hail storm hit my neighborhood hard and caused significant damage. The day after the storm numerous contractors descended upon the neighborhood and each tried to sell their service upon the victims. Most were very pushy and came across worse than a used car salesman. I became more disenchanted with every contractor who knocked upon my door. That all changed when Orin from Home Guard came calling. He was very sincere and down to earth. He didn’t try to pressure me into anything; all he asked was if he could do a free inspection. I immediately felt a level of trust and sincerity from him.
I had turned away a number of contractors but felt comfortable with Orin’s approach and decided to let him do an inspection. Unlike the other contractor’s, Orin and HomeGuard walked me around the entire house and pointed out potential problems. He took his time and was happy to answer all my questions. He did not pressure me into a contract or to sign any paperwork. It was this level of professionalism that tipped the scale for me.””I had to leave the next day for business travel and was out of town for the week. I sent Orin an email let him know I was interested. He promptly called me back and told me he would meet with the insurance adjustor and myself if I wanted to move forward. I set up and appointment with the adjustor and when I arrived at the time we had agreed upon, the adjustor was just finishing up. He had arrived about a half-hour early. Orin told me that often happens, so he always plans on arriving a half hour early himself. If Orin hadn’t been proactive, I would have missed to the opportunity to have my chosen contractor interface directly with the adjustor. Orin’s thoughtfulness made this happen.
When it came time to sign the contract, Orin drove to my office in Boulder to meet with me. He went through the whole contract and answered every question I had. He was in no hurry to pressure me to sign anything. He wanted to ensure I was comfortable with the contract.
Once all the paperwork was complete, Orin kept me informed every couple of days on when the work would start. HomeGuard actually scheduled the work to start before I had physically received the check from the insurance company. I received the check on a Saturday, HomeGuard dropped the shingles on Tuesday, and work was performed on Wednesday. It was an extremely smooth and hassle free experience.
When I had left Wednesday morning, there was a crew of a dozen folks ready to get to work at 7 am. I spoke briefly to the foreman and headed off to work. About 3 pm, I received a text and photo of my new roof from Orin. He said that all the work was complete and everything had been cleaned up. Upon arriving home about 5:30, there was no sign that anyone had been there working all day except the brand new roof. It was incredible that there was no mess to be found anywhere and the job looked perfect. In fact, the guys who mow the lawn leave more of a footprint than the HomeGuard team.
Shortly after I arrived home, another representative, Mike, from HomeGuard stopped by to see if I was pleased with the work. I told him everything was great and thanked him for their efforts.

HomeGuard came out to the property, to do a core sample. Determined the roof did not need replaced. They had everything they need to perform this inspection and patch the core. Great company to work with. Will work with them again.
